This will be a two-hour deep dive into understanding strength training in a way that feels supportive, intelligent, and approachable led by Susannah White.
Together, we’ll explore:
• Why lifting weights matters for long-term health
• How the body adapts positively to strength training
• How to warm up properly
• The foundations of functional movement and lifting mechanics
We’ll work through:
• Squats
• Deadlifts
• Lunges
• Chest press
• Rows
• Shoulder press
• Accessory strength work
We’ll be using a mix of light weights and yoga blocks within the studio space, and we’ll have as much equipment available as possible.
This workshop is designed to help you build confidence, understand technique, and begin seeing strength training as something accessible, empowering, and deeply supportive for your body.
