This Pre- & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is led by Susannah White and Sarah Alice Lee, alongside experienced guest educators, and taking place at Yard Yoga this Autumn.
Rooted in alignment-based, pelvic-health-informed yoga, this training bridges traditional yogic practice with modern anatomy and perinatal science. You’ll learn not only what to teach, but why, how, and when across pregnancy and the postnatal period.
This training will:
Build confidence in teaching pregnancy and postnatal yoga safely
Deepen your understanding of the changing body before and after birth
Move you beyond fear-based cueing and rigid rules
Equip you to offer adaptable, responsive, and supportive classes

Understanding the Postnatal Period (early weeks to long-term)
Caesarean Birth Considerations
Contraindications, Red Flags & Referral Pathways
Asana Adaptations & Intelligent Use of Props
Sequencing for Strength, Mobility, Rest, and Recovery
Language, Consent, Trauma-Aware & Inclusive Teaching
